Hello and Aloha

I've had the honor of supporting over 700 families as a birth doula. Over the years, I've built incredible connections with amazing parents, nurses, midwifes, families and doulas. It fills me with gratitude to be a part of the team that helps create each family's birth story. My heart is full when I've made a positive impact. Doula work is a lifestyle that I love.

Testimonials

“Having Bonnie Slater as part of my wife's birth was one of the best decisions we have made throughout the whole pregnancy / birthing process! I give her my absolute highest recommendation. During each of the pre-birth meetings, Bonnie took the time and effort to really get to know my wife and me. This wasn't a typical 'get to know you' meeting, but something much deeper.”

“It is impossible to fully express how much Bonnie truly cared about how we worked together as a couple so I could be the best when it was 'go time.' During the actual birth, Bonnie made my wife feel comfortable and confident. Her words of encouragement gave my wife the extra punch of energy to help her get through the toughest stretches and deliver naturally (as she was hoping for).”

“We were fortunate to have Bonnie Slater serve as our doula for the birth of our third child.  We couldn't be happier and more grateful with our experience with her! She made me feel safe and comforted, but also empowered and capable.  Above all, it was clear that Bonnie's presence directly and significantly contributed to our positive birth experience!”

“When I know Bonnie is going to be a family's doula, I get a big smile and relax. Bonnie shares her heart when she works with families. She is encouraging, supportive, knowledgeable, and able to be fully present during the magical process of labor and birth, however it presents itself.”

“I have always loved walking into my patient's room, and seeing Bonnie as their birth doula.  That always gave me a great feeling of content, knowing that my patient is well supported in her birth journey."
